<p>If I'm only in AP History and AP English, would that disqualify me from getting into Caltech? Would they not even consider me? Long story short, I slacked so I only got in AP History and AP English, but I do better in and have a real knack for Math and Science.</p>

<p>They are not going to take your word for it. If it was that easy, everyone could claim they have a real knack for Math and Science.</p>

<p>So, think of how you will prove it and then you would be able to answer your own question.</p>

<p>In the applicant pool there will be thousands of people who don’t slack off.</p>
