Check through cram packets. I would also recommend the Sparknotes US History PowerPack for a 5 day study. It also comes with a 24 hour emergency study schedule (including 15 hours of straight studying)

^ thanks....but ive noticed that i tend to remember a lot more studying from a book like AMSCO. i might reread..finiish one tuesday with like watever 6 chapters left. Wednesday and thursday crampacks.

And then saturday and sunday will be studying from amsco and collegeboard essays and DBQs. and im not going to take any more practice exams other than the ones in class.

I am sorry if this is not the right place, I just did not want to post a whole new thread about my problem.

I was taking one of the practice exams in Barron's AP US book and I am not sure if one of the questions had the right answer in the book. The question is the following:
All of the following occurred during the presidency of Jimmy Carter except:
A) the imposition by OPEC of its first oil embargo to force oil prices to rise
B) the seizure of Americans by Iranians and the holding of them as hostages in Teheran
C) the signing of the Camp David Peace Accord
D) the strong support for human rights and the Helsinki Accord by the president
E) the negotiation of a treaty with Panama that would return the Canal to Panama

The answer that they give is A. What do you guys think? Wasn't Helsinki Accord signed during Ford's administration?? And didn't the OPEC crisis occur during Ford's administration, too?! Or am I just way off

Yeah, when I was doing that problem (I flip back to the answer key) and I read that, my gut idea was the Helinski accords signed by Ford, but then I looked again and all it said was strong support not the signing of it.

And the first OPEC crisis happened in Nixon's presidency although Carter's administration still felt the crunch of OPEC, as have had all subsequent US Presidents.

Process of Elimination is the most helpful thing in multiple choice. Not only do I find my gut instinct, I try to eliminate the other four to make myself feel better and to make sure I didn't pick the wrong answer.

I wouldn't guess unless you can narrow it down to two answers. But I'm really not sure.
As for the thesis, just find a logical way of seperating ideas and use it. Or if they give you the categories, use them (obviously).

yes the BEST of the BEST study book there is. My only regret is purchasing it a month before. I wish i cudda got it like from the beginning of year. It sorts everything out.

Im kinda stressed out right now. Class took an actual 2003 i think part 1 the other day and I got a baaaadd score :(

When I took a REA practice test today, I got 15 points higher, putting me in the range between 4-5 (according to some statistics our teacher gave us)

Im hoping I just left a question blank on the real practice and it caused me to screw every answer from there on. Gotta mark them next time to make sure i dont forget blanks
