Architecture or Accounting?

I recently discovered that I wasted my undergraduate years pursuing a degree that has no hiring outlook in today's economy. I am interested in design/architecture, but have heard very poor things about the job market and do not want to go back to school, spend $100,000 and still not have a job to show for it. While I am not as interested in accounting, I seem to understand it quite easily and had no trouble with the few courses I took of it in undergrad (I know these most likely have nothing to do with the day to day dealings of an accountant, but at least I know I'd make it through school alright). My question is, which has a better job market currently? I understand that both require certifications, but I have heard harsh things about the architecture market (difficult to find an internship, can't get experience required to sit for exam, low salaries, no job security, etc). I am more interested in architecture, but I will not "waste" my graduate years as I did my undergrad. I am in NYC currently, but do not plan on being here forever (I do not know if this changes anything).
Thank you in advance for your help and advice.
