On the Drexel University for joint programs, it mentions necessary requirements such as a 1360 SAT, top ten percent, etc.

If you don't meet these requirements, does that mean you have no chance of getting in? Are those requirements a general guidline or is it a strict necessity?

Thanks so much for your answers.

Here's the link to drexel:

Accelerated Degree Program Application Process | Undergraduate Admissions | Drexel University

Normally when the word “requirement” is used, that is just exactly what it means: No X, Y, or Z, then no admission.

If you have reason to believe that in your individual case there are extenuating circumstances that could possibly justify a relaxation of the requirements, then pick up the telephone, call Drexel, and ask.

The website says: “For consideration to the BA/BS/MD accelerated degree program, applicants must:…”

So if you don’t meet them, your application won’t be considered. If they don’t consider it, then you can’t get in. As happymomof1 said, you can contact them and try to work something out. Good luck :]

:[ that’s unfortunate. thanks for your help.

you should see the ba/bs/md programs for more prestigious universities; practically 2200-2300 sat1 minimum requirement for consideration.
