I applied to Wisconsin-Madison in mid-October for the pre-pharmacy program. I have yet to hear a decision, but I have started working on the scholarship application. I was directed to the 2015 Incoming Freshmen L&S Scholarship Application (2015-2016). Is this the application I should be filling out? Is it for all incoming Freshmen? I don’t see any applications for pre-pharmacy. Thank you for your help! 
Some incoming freshmen are in engineering or ag and life sciences - those have their own scholarship applications.
So not everyone is in L & S, but with a pre-pharmacy intention you are, so rest assured you are filling out the right scholarship application.
Check out the pre-School of Pharmacy club if you attend UW-Madison. Also visit the Pre-Health Advising website for UW-Madison, and click on pre-pharmacy. Another suggestion-go to http://pharmacy.wisc.edu and click on Admissions for Pharm.D. and look at the required pre-pharm coursework.

hey @Madison85 , I applied as a Business major (for actuarial science) but my acceptance letter says:
“Program: General Course - BA Degree
College: College of Letters and Science”
Does that mean I wasn’t accepted into business, or does Wisconsin’s business begin sophomore year?

@maniactango You are a pre-business student and all pre-business students are in the College of Letters & Science. To apply to the School of Business, you need to complete or be currently enrolled in 4 specific pre-business courses. Not everyone who applies is admitted. The soonest you can apply is during second semester of your first year. So you may be able to apply by the last Friday in March of 2016 deadline for Fall 2016 admission. The 4 classes are calculus 211 or 217 or 221 or AP credit, Psychology 202, Economics 101 and Communication A requirement (or AP credit or placement exam score). Your should aim for at least a 3.5 in the 4 courses and also need to be completing 24 credits at UW by the end of the semester you are applying in (3.5 or better). You should consider joining Badger Business Buddies in fall or pledging the business school fraternity You need to be able to show expressed interest in School of Business on your application. There are a couple of short essays.
You will learn more about this at SOAR (summer orientation).
You can apply for L&S scholarships now. Suggested minimum ACT score to apply is 31.
