Are all B.Arch programs five year programs?

I have two questions, are all B.Arch programs five year programs?
Also, is there a difference between a B.Arch and B.A/B.S in Architecture degree?

Thank you in advance.

every BArch program that I know is a 5 year program

a BArch is a 5 year program that allows you to get your license in 5 years (once you complete the BArch program)

a BA/BS in architecture is 4 years and requires you to take a 2 yr Master (MArch) in Architecture to be able to sit for your license exam.

So, a BArch saves you one year of school and allows you to start working earlier.

I’m somewhat unclear under what circumstances an M.Arch can be completed in two years. Most of the M.Arch programs that my son investigated are 3 or 3.5 years.

From what my son found: U of Illinois is a 4+2; getting a BS in architecture studies and then go to U of I for MArch for 2 years. Looking at the Guide to Architecture Schools, some schools do not offer a 2 year MArch. U of Cincinnati was also a 4+2 ( in reality a 5+2 due to coop). Some schools offer the 2 year MArch and the 3 or 3.5 year MArch.

The 2 year M.Arch is for those students who already have a 4-year B.S. in Architecture. Those with another major would enter a 3+ years M.Arch.
