Try your hardest to get the SAT up to at least a 2000

Are you familiar with the program Naviance? If your school uses it, you can see how you stack up against people that applied there in the past. At the moment it definitely seems that you are below the fifty percentile marker for SAT scores which could play an important role in whether you get admitted. So I’d say you have a chance if you raise those test scores (perhaps try the ACT) but right now it would be considered a reach for those schools.

Both posters above have good advice. I can tell your right out that without about 2000 SAT, from son’s school, you are highly unlikely to get accepted unless your Syrian nationality is URM status recognized by these schools and some quarter given for that. I know more kids, a lot more kids rejected than accepted with your stats, unless there is some hook involved.
