Are colleges dishonest when it comes to a Nuclear Medicine Technician program?

Is all of your data anecdotal?

I’ll admit that the vast majority of it is. Do you feel those people are lying? Yes or no.

JJwinkle did claim that for 2014-2024 BLS is predicting only a 1.5% growth for NMT.

Not necessarily lying, just ill informed.

@carolinamom2boys How can they be the ones who are ill informed? They’re the ones informing everyone of their experience. 2-3 thousand applicants for one job really speaks for itself.

If that is accurate , you are right .

@carolinamom2boys Is there some reason you feel that is not accurate? If there are jobs in this field, do you feel all those people are just lazy?

The govt shouldn’t be in the business of dictating to colleges whether the school should offer petroleum engineering or gender studies.

Lots of people pick a major for intellectual passion, not just for accreditation for a narrowly defined occupational role.

@GMTplus7 Then they should at least be upfront and inform the prospective students that there is a next to nothing chance they’ll be employed in this field. It is dishonest to provide a trade that has a vastly oversaturated job market.

Plus, the vast majority of the graduates are obviously in school to find a decent job.
