Is there a way to find out which schools offer a Nuclear Medicine major?

This is what I would like to major in, is there a way I could find a list of schools that i could get a BS in this?

That'd be nuclear medicine technology... Do you want to be a doctor, or a technologist? In order to go into practicing nuclear medicine, you'd have to go to medical school, but in order to be a technologist, the best training program around is at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

<a href="http://www.uams.edu/chrp/nuc_med/default.asp%5B/url%5D">http://www.uams.edu/chrp/nuc_med/default.asp</a></p>

If this is along the lines that you'd like, you can also run a google search or two for "nuclear medicine technology training".

If you want to be a nuclear medicine doctor, you need to go through medical school and then specialize in nuclear medicine there. I recommend looking through the pre-med threads and checking those out if that's the route you'd like to go through.

yeah, i don't wanna be the doctor, just the tech. thanks!

you can search by major on the Princeton Review site:

good luck!

Keep in mind that nuclear techs are in high demand. I work in a related field and am not aware of a ranking of undergraduate programs and would have doubts about thier reliability anyway. I would say that the better programs will be affiliated with a medical school rather than just a hospital. But in the end, you will be able to choose where you want to work, so I would suggest you factor in other things that are attractive to you about the college: location, size, environment, cost and so on.
