Are Common App prompts changing for Fall 2016?

@DevlinHall208 This year the general Common App prompts are staying the same for the CA personal statement. Do you know if the writing supplements for BC will change for this fall? I know that all schools officially go live on 8/1/2016, but my son is trying to get ahead of his essays before August. It would be great to get ahead.

Hi @suzyQ7 - Yes the writing supplement prompts are changing. Those will be posted before August 1.

The common app is officially up, but BC’s forms/prompts are still “Not Yet Available”.

Dear mjrube94 : All four prompts, but specifically #3 and #4, scream “Why BC?”. All potential applicants will need to do their research on Boston College’s educational philosophy before spending any of those 400 words to address the prompts. Congratulations to BC for greatly improved essays for the 2017 admissions round.
