Do I have a shot or am I wasting my time?

Please, anyone?

Wow, what are you worried about? Your grades aren’t that low. You’re taking APs, your SATs are right where they should be. You have an international flavor that Vassar loves. Good ECs… I think you have a good chance.

Nothing is certain, of course, but I don’t see your grades keeping you out anyway. One thing’s for sure - if you don’t apply, you have zero chance. So, apply by all means. Don’t forget to use Your Space on the Vassar supplement. They say it’s optional, but it kind of isn’t.

Good Luck.

Thanks! That makes me feel better. Speaking of the “Your Space” portion, is there any sort of word count? I don’t know how much to submit. I have lots of short story/poem pieces . . .

Edit: my UW gpa is 3.7; W is 4.03

Further input = much appreciated.

Your chances are good, just apply and see what happens…

I got in to Vassar on a 3.35 unweighted/ 3.8 weighted GPA. Your GPA is exactly what Vassar likes. Moreover, your Ukranian heritage and tri-lingualism makes you very interesting and diverse (a major consideration in the admissions process). I’d say your chances are very good, particularly if you’ve got a good essay.

^Are you male or female? Vassar is known for accepting males with substantially lower stats.

haha. low gpa? you’d make a great comedian. jk, you’ve got a great chance…really.

I clicked on the figuring that it would be some kid who had a 2400 and a 3.9999999 wondering if their Gpa was too low and I was rite, why didn’t you just name the post. “I know I will get in but I just want to rub it in everyone else’s face that I have no life and study all day.”

yeah, I think you have a good chance. Wow, soccer102592 has some serious insecurity issues.
