Are my Ec's enough for Princeton

I am a Sophmore in Highschool. By the time I finish this is what my EC's might look like. I want to know if that is enough.

Princeton, I believe, looks for committment to some of your major ECs. Looks like you have it. Dont set a target like this...it wont really benefit u. Im talking from experience. ie. I was in norway and had a bunch of ECs, I moved to Korea and skipped Soph year in a school which had next to 0 Ecs available. Now in my senior, in a dif school from my junior year, there are tons of ECs available. Try and do something that u can write a great essay about - something that u learned a lot from and applied skill and dedication to. Just some thoughts. keep that in mind when u do the ECs that Pton doesnt want a laundry list, but some true dedication. If u get MVP or Team captain in Tennis, that might help. Maybe get involved in some Drama or something, to show that u are well rounded as an individual. Possible try out another sport for the next two years along with tennis. that might look nice. Remember that u are a soph and its time to ENJOY ur life...good luck!

yah u might want to learn how to spell some of your ECs.....

cheerleading- one word, choir, tennis, rectory

well excuse me for writing in rush know it all

i would say ur ECs are a little lacking. nothing in particular stands out or shows that u have passion. are u VERY active in any of them? lotsa hours of community service? won national/state competitions? if not u need to find and dedicate urself to some new ECs. just having some random ECs without true care wont really help u

you guys are confusing me. I agree that I don't think my list is a lot because it is devided in community service and activities/sports. I'm very dedicated with cheerleading and tennis. I spend 15hrs a week with the team during the season that they are in. During the weekends I dedicate myself to helping out because that's what I like to do. You know I feel accomplished. I feel like I have done something. Lately I have just been panicing because I felt behind or not good enough and I want to know if I was.

well then u should emphasize cheerleading =) college applications ask you hrs/wk; wks/yr if u only have 1 activity that you do relatively a lot...then i would say u need more dedicated activitied =D

thanks...............

You're a soph. Take time to find what you like and really develop in that area, and stop thinking about if your list is big enough for this college, or that.

i was partially kidding about the spelling thing....no need to get too offended there.

If your school is friggin awesome in Chearleading (like they win competitions and stuff) it should be very advantageous for you. A girl in my school won lots of scholarships because of cheer. I think a lot of colleges love their cheerleaders, as I'm sure Princeton will too. But that is not to say that cheer/ECs/activities are the only things they look for, you need the stats and charm( in writing essays, teachers rec and interviews) to back all that up.
