Are my high schools courses too "weak"?

Compared to a lot of others I feel like my course load doesn’t seem as challenging.

Freshman year:
Honors physical science
English
Algebra 1
Us history
Spanish 1

Sophomore year:
Honors American history
Honors biochemistry
Honors English
Geometry
Spanish 2

My junior year I’m taking
AP US Government
Algebra 2/ trig
Chemistry (they say it’s honors level but why wouldn’t they give the weighted score)
Honors English
Dance 1

I took the required classes like health and pe so I didn’t list them

Sorry, I worded it weird. What I’m trying to say is, do these classes look good to colleges? Also I’d have an A or B in all of them.

Depends completely on which colleges you’re applying to. If you’re applying to top schools, you should be trying to take the most rigorous schedule that your school offers.

Your course rigor is looked at only within the context of YOUR high school.

Try to take honors math if possible

What colleges do you plan on applying to?

For the vast bulk of colleges these courses will look fine. If you are trying for the Ivys or the most selective schools then they are too weak.

The caveat being that if you are at a high school that has few AP and honors courses then schools will give you some leeway. In other words, they won’t fault you for not taking harder courses if harder courses were not available to you.
