Hi. I was just wondering if I need to buy a carpet for my dorm room in Barrett. Thanks!

I’m pretty sure that all of the dorms are carpeted, unless there’s like a specific kitchen area.
Usually bedrooms are carpeted.

The Barrett dorm rooms have charcoal gray carpeting on the floor in the bedroom and wood look easy care flooring in the bathrooms. The room furniture is all dark brown wood finish and the dorm walls are a soft gray/green neutral tone. The room lights are round soft white discs mounted on the walls so the lighting is adequate but very soft. The closets have two sliding doors, one half has both upper and lower racks in place. There is a small desk with attached hutch, a small desk drawer with pull out “table” at the side. Small book shelf and three drawer dresser for each student as well.

The furniture is very nice. Bathrooms are very nice w/tub shower combination. Be sure to bring shower curtain with you (coordinate with roommates). Compared to most dorms, Barrett looks like 5 star resort.

^ In addition, if you’re in a 4-bedroom suite, there’s wood along the kitchenette area, a sink, a mini-fridge, counter space, a few cupboards, a square dining table, 4 chairs, a couch in the “living room” area, two side tables, and a tv stand. They are all very nice, and anyone coming into these dorms as a freshman are super spoiled haha.

oh gosh, I better make sure I bring a brighter lamp. haha “soft” lighting often makes me fall asleep. lol
