Umm... the title pretty much says it all. Are there any fairly good universities that don't require any recommendations (no counselor recs, no teacher recs, etc.)? Thanks! :D

why, what'd you do? ;)

LOL I didn't do (or not do) anything, per se. However, I feel that I should apply to at least one more school (I'm only applying to 4). There enlies my predicament: the deadline for recommendations of any kind has already passed. So any suggestions?

Why? All they have to do is make one more copy and send it to the school you add. That's what they would do if you are applying to more than one schools that use the common application system.

Mcgill .....

U of Florida is a really good school (according to the people I ask in Florida.....and also some polls online).....anywayz they don't require recs.......but they do recommend them....and besides their deadline is in the mid of Jan. so u'd have the time to get one if u do decide to apply there.

william & mary. actually, lots of state schools.

the UCs and probably the CSUs as well

U of Arizona and Arizona State... good business school... very simple application

a lot of big state school that receive 40,000 applications usually don't require recs. They don't have time to read them.

Like everyone said, lots of schools don't want/need recs. I know for a fact that Baylor doesn't.

pretty much any canadian school :)

i wasnt asked for one from Tulane...only if you apply for a scholarship did they say I had to send one....then again I had a personal app and don't know if it is like that for every1
