Are there any grad schools accepted 2.5 to 3.0???

I know Im dumb so don't harsh.
Are there any schools accepted 2.5 to 3.0???
Please advice some schools with big name in general or in engineering I don't care.I don't want to go to state university for my grad.
I think after finishing my undergrad , I will have:
3-straight quarter thesis (research) - that is mandatory in order to graduate with an engineering degree at my school
one internship or co op.
GRE - I don't know yet but I will try my best
GPA - the highest I can get is 3.2 because I never on the top on my classes ( only 2 to 5 students can get A in each engineering course at my school) but I have a lot of B-, C+ so I may end up 2.8 2.9.
Letter of Recommendation: I will try to get at least three.( Im just planning. What about if I don't get any?????? )

Well, if you can get 2.8 or 2.9 and a good score on the GRE, even schools that say they have a 3.0 limit may make an exception.

 • Why not? Beggars can’t be choosers.

(It sounds like your school has a tough grading policy. Many graduate schools probably know this, if your school has a good reputation. Also, if your school does have a reputation as a rigorous and challenging academic institution, and you’re really doing alright there, you could go to grad school there…)

It sounds like an unfunded (or initially so at least) MS program from a lower-first tier or second tier program may be your only choice. You go to CSU Pomona, which is probably a very rigorous program but it does not have a strong national reputation so you might not be able to use grade deflation as an excuse.

If your ultimate goal is to go for a doctorate (very long and strenuous), maybe you can go to a place like Iowa State and show mastery in a rigorous research based MS program with lower admissions requirements.

Why do you want to go to grad school if you are struggling in undergrad?

Cal Poly Pomona… Same as ur undergrad…?

Why wouldn’t you want to go to your state flagship? It will almost definitely be your best option if you can get accepted.

@al6200

Because state flagship in CA is UC Berkeley, not a typical BSU. MS program has 20% admit rate and PhD has ~13% admit rate, many of whom are internationals.

Cal Poly Slo? If you’re gonna stay on the west coast that’d be a good option. It ain’t a huge national school but everyone on the west knows mustangs are legit.
