Are there any places at UCSB where I can print infinitely for free?

Are there any places at UCSB where I can print infinitely for free?

There’s a lab where you can print out 100 pages for free. I don’t know about infinite or when the 100 pages rule resets. O:

WHERE IS THAT LAB.

I’ve been trying to find the ever elusive “free place to print” all year last year. . .D:

Lemon, aren’t you the one who is already going to SB? :stuck_out_tongue:
I don’t know where it is and I forgot the name. O: I’m so helpful. <3

Yes, I have 5 quarters of UCSB behind me, and I’ve searched for that holy grail printing station for 5 quarters.

No dice. -__-

…That’s a little scary. Maybe it’s like in Harry Potter where you walk into an empty room that only has a purpose for what you imagine it to be. Just walk around with your eyes closed and hope you wander into it. :D

By the way, do you know if the printing is per quarter or per week? At my old community college, we had 15 free pages per day.

I havent got my letter either. but for those of you who have, does it also say who the roomate is?

yes, it gives you your roommate’s first name and number, and your suitemates if you have any.

What planet are you on? .__.

And, just try typing in the roommate’s phone number on facebook.

why did you JUST ask this in the UC Davis section too?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-davis/1202227-where-print-infinitely-free.html</a></p>

lol my bad. i hella thought this was the dorm room assignment thread. ooppss.

lol okay, thanx

Because I have to travel between UCD / UCSB a lot this year and need to print a lot of pages for research / conferences related business.

Go to CSIL in harold frank hall

You can print 250 pgs per quarter if you’re an engineering student at CSIL or any of the other engineering labs.
http://www.engr.ucsb.edu/eci/faqs/8-section6/45-printer-quotas</a></p>

If you’re a Letters & Science student, you get 100 pgs per quarter at Phelps labs, HSSB labs, SSMS labs, the Language Lab, and the Life Sciences lab.

Do we have to swipe our ID card for them to keep track of how many we’ve printed?

I don’t know about L&S, but in Engineering we login to the computers with our own accounts. Everytime you log in, a window pops up telling you how many pages you have left. So, no, you don’t need your ID. At least that’s the way it is for engineering.

Oh, sweet! I’m Engineering as well. Thank you!

Did the 100 free printing pages per quarter in L&S just started Fall 2011? What are the SSMS labs?

I have printed from the Phelps Labs before while being in L&S and I still got charged.

Wait never mind, I’ve also printed in SRB, that’s probably why.

P.S. You get 100 more pages at the beginning of every quarter!

^^^^^

Does this part mean you get rollover pages if they are unused from the previous quarter?
