So my question is: are these school correctly placed as reaches/matches or safeties??

wait, how are you in the top ranked high school in MA with a 3.4 GPA, but also in the top 10%? I’m in a mediocre school in MA with a 3.6 and I’m barely in the top 10%… anyways, yes those are a good list of schools to apply to. i see you’re staying close to MA or at least New England

My school/teachers grades on a harsh curve and no one has a 4.0 gpa that has honors/APs. It’s highly ranked because of MCAS scores and teacher accredidation.

I only took AP Bio- 5 and AP Latin -3 this year. The other six I am taking this year /:

I’d move Ursinus to the “safety” category. I also think you could flesh out your match and safety categories. I’m having a hard time figuring out the commonality in your selections (not a criticism – just makes it harder to make suggestions…)

I was thinking about Ursinus as a safety, thanks.

But the commonality in my choices is pre-med. All the schools on my list are good in the sciences, except maybe UMass which my parents are making me apply to :)

I would re-take SATs to emphasize that your 3.4 GPA is truly reflective of super-difficult classes. Your list looks fine, but is Northeastern really a safety?

Northeastern is random with admissions. I’d say you are a good match. The only true safety I would say are Drexel and Umass Amherst. WPI is also random but this is anecdotal evidence.
