Are we now seeing the advent of HYP social clubs?

Everybody seen this? <a href="http://www.rightstuffdating.com%5B/url%5D">www.rightstuffdating.com</a>

I'd enjoy having an intelligent boyfriend too, but this is ridiculous.

The Pittsburgh HYP club has been there for many decades, and is simply a way to afford a club for those alums. In NYC, h, y, and P have separate clubs, but I believe all of them now admit alumns from certain other places to help share costs. Yale-UVa-Dartmouth, not sure of the others.

Even for us doddering ancients, there were variants of this. In SF in the late 1970's-early '80s, when I was a twentysomething/thirtysomething single, there were singles' cocktail parties (organized by ???) limited to alums of Ivies/Seven Sisters (geez, when did we last hear that term?).
