I guess we’ll be the new generation of yalie prospects next year?
looking forward for the countdown xD
even when I get freaked out by reading this year’s early decision thread…

Yep! It’s scary but also exciting. Do you know where else you’re applying? I’m going to go for Yale’s SCEA so I’ll hopefully know my fate by the end of the year. EEEEEEEEEEK!

Oh. God.
It’s actually this year.
I didn’t realize that.
That is INSANE. Yet strangely exciting. SQUEE.
Definetly applying for Yale SCEA, but I have this huge list of colleges prepared if I don’t make it, or when. But if, by some miracle, i get in… life is complete xDD
all these ap classes are worth it.

“I’m going to go for Yale’s SCEA so I’ll hopefully know my fate by the end of the year.”

Don’t get your hopes up. A good chunk of this year’s applicants got the big, nasty deferral decision. I’d have to say that’s worse then submitting for regular decision because it draws out the whole waiting game for another 4 months and you might (or might not) freak out over the reason(s) they deferred you. Best of luck and may you all get acceptance letters!

I will be here to help out periodically!

Thanks for that icestorm Yeah, I’m dreading getting deferred. At least with a rejection it cuts out the element of waiting. But then again if I do get deferred I’ll feel like I might have a chance at being accepted somewhere else. If it’s a flat out rejection then that’ll knock my confidence of other places. But we’ll see. Hopefully Yale will just think I’m lovely and accept me straight away. And Lanaesque too!

I have a huge list as a backup… but if all those have to be sent by January 1st then I’m going to be running around like a headless chicken those last couple of weeks in December. Oh man.

I will go to Binghamton if not Yale. It is NYC and a cheaper option.
Those are the only two schools I applied to.
I miss you guys!
I was out because I thought I could wait till March 31.

I applied to just 2 schools. Yale is my dream, but Harvard is my safety.

OMG! Do I hate Harvard or what. I think I will be like a bulldogtigerlioness at The Game. I cannot stand red, and the H stands for a bad word for women

I agree. I wouldn’t even consider going to Harvard if admitted to Y and H.

I would send my deposit to Yale, go to bulldog day, and then spend time touring the h (note the new name, the h).
When I am done with the tour, I will mention that I live Yale better. I think it is anything to make the h feel like i dunno wut

I heard both prefrosh’s are tons of fun.

Yeah? I mean, they SHOULD BE!
Whatever happens, Yale’s prefrosh is better.
Have you been to both campuses?
Which one is more beautiful?

@Mal77
Harvard is your safety?

did you discover a cure to cancer or something?

People think I’m kidding when I say I’m applying to Harvard. I wasn’t enthralled with them at first, just wasn’t getting any vibes. But I looked at the details for what major I would do and it got a lot better. Plus I’ve been swayed by the picture of that amazing dining room they have. Do want!

OMG! Heartbroken. I always wanted a Brit around so we talk about Man U vs. Chelsea and etc

Don’t get me wrong, Harvard looks nice… but Yale is still my favourite!

You need a Brit around so that you can join in with the nomfest when I get copious amounts of chocolate sent over. Cadbury RULES Hershey. Seriously. As for the football, I’m not sure I’m any use there… I like cricket though. Any sport that stops for tea is fine by me.

"@Mal77

did you discover a cure to cancer or something?"

No I donated 400 million.

^ : )

Comparable.
