are you a humanities type of student that has become a lawyer and enjoys it?

Many people try to talk prospective law students out of studying law. Why? I don't think it's mainly because of the myth of prestige and high salary. In a surprising number of cases it rather seems to boil down to lack of options - the law is basically the only profession catering to BA/philosophy type of students. I happen to be this type of student: not that I'm not good in math or science, it just so happens that I like the humanities better, and philosophy was my favorite subject in high school.
Anyways, is anyone here a humanities/philosophy type of student and has become a lawyer mainly because of that and now ENJOYS HIS JOB?
