Both

Both

Artsy: like science (especially bio), but I'm big time into music.

Baseball, videogames, model rockets, drawing, pretty much anything that seemed like a good idea at the time (I still like all these things...)

Baseball: love being active, fun, etc.; videogames: applied day dreaming is always nice; rockets: fire, explosions, what more do you need?; drawing: my 1st artsy experience.

Yes

Yes

No

Which side you fit in better with
Probably artsy though I'm always curious about the world and like to learn about science related stuff.. I'm just not hard-core.

What kind of people you like to work with
Science people because they're usually more straightfoward, logical, and dedicated to details... they just seem to get things done.

If more of your friends are artsy or sciencey
Mostly in the social sciences, actually, followed by humanities, then science.

What you liked as a kid
Reading about nature/animals, geography, and history. I also played outside a lot.

Why you like what you like.
Comfortable, curious, imaginative...
a. If you're artsy, do you find art too easy? Is that why you like it? Or do you find some science easy?
No actually. I'm a talented artist and my teachers see that in my work so they always push me to see more of what I'm working on so for me, art's pretty challenging. I love art only because I'm naturally comfortable and good at it. I never found science easy so neither comes easy to me unless my art teacher misses my talent. Then art becomes pointless if I don't get attention.

Do you ever wonder how the Earth works? Do you ever take things apart just to see how they work? Do you wonder why there's fog? Do you care about nature?
Yup. That's why I took astronomy and physics very seriously.

Do you like to work with your hands?
Not really.

Do you like to work with people at all?
Not really unless they're actually productive.

Are you anti-social?
Sometimes but less now than before.

And anything else you think could help.

It just really depends on how you think. Both of those areas do required thinking outside of the box but in different ways. Science people use past experiments and learn from other people to make their own experiments and theories work so the lab doesn't blow up. On the other hand, art is original. Yes, they use other artists' works for influence but the end product becomes your own. It can take years for an artist to develop her very own style that previous artists cannot copy. There's no risk involved except for criticism. An artist has to make herself stand out from the rest on her own rather than developing ideas from others.

Math and Science.

Persons who collectively as a group finish the work at hand.

Sciencey.

Math.

b. Science is challenging, but so is art.

Yes to all.

I do, but my mechanical aptitude needs work.

Yes.

No.

I respect nature. I like evening sunsets. The art I like can be exemplified in Leaves of Grass, The Noble Qu'ran, The Divine Comedy, The Three Colors Trilogy, and Lawrence of Arabia. The art I don't care for is stuff by Thoreau.

Artsy fartsy... classic terminology!

In all actuality, even though I'm an artist, I think I fit better with the sci/math kids, because I'm more of a dork then I am an artist (and the other artists at my school aren't into the premed trail)

I love working with both :) Although, I must say sometimes the sci/math kids get waaaaay too smart for me...

Most of my friends are hardcore math/physics/chemistry geeks. ;(

As a kid, I loved to write, read, doodle, fingerpaint, all sorts of thiiings!

Erm, I like what I like because it's fun for me? Do you prefer doing math to doodling on a sketchpad? I think I'm more artsy in that sense - I don't like studying or doing problems or figuring out those wiiicked long and tedious physics formulas. Give me a paintbrush anyday :)
a. Art is NEVER easy, lol. But I love doing it, so that's all that matters. And no, I'm actually not really a math/sci person (even though I'm doubling in math/sci every year) so I find it extremely difficult for me, and I've gotta actually work to death at it :(
b. I'm not science-y? And art isn't something to be perfected if you work hard in the sense as you "work hard in physics"... you can only make great things if you love it!

Yeah, I was quite the philosopher as a child! I've taken a clock apart, but I'm not much of an enviromentalist ^^;

Yes, I do :] Sculpture and ceramics are some of my favorite classes

YES, of course! I love working with others.

Errr, I hope not. But as the same as my other sci/math friends, yes... I do spend entire weekends living at the library -_-

Er, I hope this helps you?!

Science and the Arts (certainly theatre...) have a lot in common. As my theatre teacher said, it's important to make a distinction between science and technology. It's a pet peeve of mine when people think you can't be both. In my opinion, the smartest people are those who realize you'll make the biggest difference if you embrace both sides.

Which side you fit in better with - i'm better with science but mainly in the middle.

What kind of people you like to work with - can't really answer that without completely generalizing

If more of your friends are artsy or sciencey - math... all of them are fantastic at math

What you liked as a kid - science and biology

Why you like what you like. - because it's something the worlds constantly learning more about. then again i like to learn about anything for that reason.
a. If you're artsy, do you find art too easy? Is that why you like it? Or do you find some science easy? - not at all, science has a bad habbit of baffling me, but then again thats why i enjoy it, it's a challenge

Do you ever wonder how the Earth works? Do you ever take things apart just to see how they work? Do you wonder why there's fog? Do you care about nature? - i'm quite big on enviromentalism, so yes.

Do you like to work with your hands? - no

Do you like to work with people at all? - very much so

Are you anti-social? - no but i do like a lot of time just to myself
