<p>dont be too presumptuous stressedout, even if you dont get a scholarship, (which, by my understanding, are still coming out), then you could still be accepted later on in February just without a scholarship!</p>

<p>Trust me i know what you mean, every single day I wait I get more on edge. Plus today was the second day in a row that I found large white envelope in my mailbox, I got this huge burst of excitment then an enormous letdown, I am so sick of waiting :[.</p>

<p>I agree, and there is a large wave that came out last year in late March even.</p>
<p><em>sigh</em> I'm tired of pretending to cheer myself up that a large red envelope will show up in my mailbox. :'( I somewhat don't doubt my acceptance (2210SAT, 3.9uw), but a scholarship would've boosted my morale on the college admissions route. </p>
<p>But you have to remember that CC is misleading. CC is made up of better than average students. CC obscures my view of the real world!</p>

<p>Today, I got the letter saying that I wasn't considered for the Pres/Trust scholarship. USC says that my app is still in review and a decision has not been made. Oh well. Is sending your mid-year report mandatory?</p>
<p>The letter states that only 15% of those who are accepted were notified. On to waiting for the next 85% to be notified!</p>
<p>sparetire, are you still eligible for deans and other scholarships? (notification for these are in April, I believe) I mean, honestly, you have impressive stats! If you have a challenging curriculum and good ECs/essay as well, I'd keep hope alive! :)</p>

To be extremely honest, I would hate going to 'SC because I wouldn't get to dorm and really have a true college experience. My sights are towards San Fran, but 'SC is a nice back-up and has one of the best undergrad business programs.</p>

<p>When USC sorted out the scholarship deadline applicants, have they begun to reject certain applicants? Or do they put the non-scholarship applicants in a seperate pile to sort later?</p>
<p>Because I know I didn't get scholarship.. I'm worried whether I got rejected already or if there's still hope. I called the admission office and they told me that "a decision hasn't been made" and my application is currently "in review."</p>
<p>So maybe I passed the first round?? Because I'm not rejected yet?</p>

<p>I would recommend against calling the admissions office requesting a status report on your application. They have many many applications to sort through and I'll wager that they get annoyed when people call with questions such as that. Your app will be reviewed and you will get your decision in due time. Feel free to call and make sure that your application is complete. Anything beyond that is asking too much...</p>
