I'm hare-brained.

The only reason that goes clockwise is because that's the way the image was programmed. Computer programmers are taking over the world, one website at a time...

It's definitely NOT fake. I brought in my parents, and we watched it.

My dad saw a change from counterclockwise to clockwise a full 20 seconds before I saw it. Not to mention it started counter for him and clockwise for me.

It blew my mind.

Yeah, definitely not fake. It's a gif, and I looked at all the frames. It goes in one direction and repeats.

I examined the image in ImageReady closely. The key is how you perceive the way the head is rotating.

It's funny because I was reading the description for the side of the brain that I apparently use when it started turning in the other direction.

wxmann: I change it by changing the way I perceive the foot turning, not the head.

Mm, interesting. Now, I see a rotating center body [like an axle], composed along the center leg and the head, and a second leg [and corresponding arm movements] merely going left and right at a constant speed while the center leg rotates on it's axis.

clockwise...i can't change it at all

clockwise.

and I thought I was left brained.

Argh! I see it as counterclockwise and can't get it to change.

edit: I just managed to do so . . . YAY!

I got it to change by looking at the shadow of the foot. That was the only way I could get it to work consistently. Sometimes it worked if I focused on the stationary foot. Then once it was going one way for a while, it would randomly change back.

If you are left handed, chances are you are right brained.

Just like me!!! Left handed people rules!

Oh yeah, one more thing:

OMG...I see...I see nipples!!!

I'm definitely right brained!!! :D

I am trying really hard buts its still going counterclockwise. can't make it go clockcwise at all. Weird thing is i am left-handed (atleast born left handed my parents changes me when i was 3). This thread is intersting cos this is what we are learining in Ap Psych. we got a test on this stuff tommorow.

Your parents made you right-handed? That kind of seems like a primitive thing to do...

at first i saw it turning counter-clockwise but now i can see it going clockwise.
it took a while for me to change its direction

I was in india back then. People asked weird questions about being left-handed even though i lived in a rich area. My parents did not people to make fun of me of my left-handedness. They are the type of people who bascially left no stone unturned when i was little. They did not care about me being left-handed but did not want other people to comment of my left-handedness.

This thing is weird. I'm consistently right-brained, but I'm very left-handed. What's up with that? I thought the left brain controlled the right hand, vice versa?

I see it going clock-wise. I think the whole thing is a test to see who knows clock-wise from counter clock-wise. :D

Conspiracy!
