Are your chances worsened if you don't submit SAT Subject Test Scores?

I want to apply for the Digital Media Design Program which is a Bachelor in Engineering and Science. My SAT Score itself is high (2220/2400) but my SAT Subject Test scores do not enhance my application; they actually counter my 750 math score on the SAT itself negatively. Here were my Subject scores:
English Literature: 730
Math Level II: 650 (ran out of time)
Spanish: 670
Should I take the math again (2 exams are recommended, and as an engineering major it wouldn’t be worth it to send or retake Spanish) or would it be okay to just not send subject tests? Pros and cons?

Penn is not a participant of score choice. You have to submit all scores.

You should submit them. Practice the math and retake it.

If you are applying to SEAS, I would focus on getting 2 good scores and one of the needs to be math. I don’t thing that it matters much beyond two tests for Penn.

With practice you can improve your math solving speed and improve your score. Try to get over 750 if you can. It will be easier to improve for you than for a student who did finish the test but is less familiar with the material.

Good luck!

Definitely retake math. Although UPenn does not “require” subject test scores, they do recommend them. I would think that someone with good subject test scores would have an edge over another applicant that did not take the subject test, given that the other parts of their applications are considered equal.

Additionally, you should consider taking a science subject test. The engineering school recommends a science test in addition to math level 2.
