I've been trying to find some info on the ASU School of Dance, I plan on auditioning in February and I want to know what to expect. I want to know things like how many student get accepted, how the audition process is like, program details, chances of getting in. I am a male high school senior, I've Danced for about four years, Contemporary/ Modern are my strong suits, I've had little a little ballet experience, but mostly modern.

I don’t know anything about the dance audition process at ASU, but my son was a student at the university. I will recommend that if ASU is your first choice and you will likely attend if admitted, that you send a housing deposit as soon as you are accepted to the university, without waiting to hear from the dance people. Housing fills up quickly at ASU, and you will have very unattractive housing options if you wait for the results of the February audition. Speaking from unpleasant experience here. ASU has some lovely housing, but not all of it is. If you can deposit early, I recommend you do so. Best of luck with your audition.
