Hello, I'm currently a junior in high school. I've had horrible grades in my three years of high school because I slacked off and didn't know what I was going to do in life. Both of my parents did NOT go to college because they're from Korea and was very poor. I was planning on going in the Navy to BUD/s as an enlisted but I want to go to college and join the Navy as an officer. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. I took really easy classes this year and my gpa is still horrible. I have an unweighted GPA of 2.6 and a academic GPA of 2.4. I haven't taken the SAT yet because I was dead set on joining the military but I'm faltering and tending more to college. I have around 50 community service hours and was in wrestling my sophomore year. I also got a D in geometry of the last semester of sophomore year and I had to retake it this year. I'm also planning on taking Algebra 2 over the summer so I can get into pre-calc next year. I want to either get into University of Oregon, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, or go to a community college for 2 years and transfer over to a prestigious school. Any tips guys? I'm getting pretty anxious about this.

ASU: Aim for 24+/1700+

Oopsies. I calculated my GPA wrong and its actually a 2.83? Would that help? and wouldn’t summer school for Algebra 2 to Pre-calc raise it even further if I got an A?
