Exactly. You may not like the government, but don't blame the army.

I'm a girl, so I'm not a victim of these frequent recruiting calls, but seriously...I try to be nice to even the most annoying telemarketers. It's their job. Somebody's gotta do it - they're just trying to make a living like everyone else. Say, "No thanks, I'm not interested".

Thats the thing though groovinhard, no matter how many times I tell them, they ALWAYS think they can get me in. They even ask me to meet at school, at home or some other place. I felt bad for saying "no" because its not like im doing anything else but school RIGHT AFTER school, so I said I would meet with them for one afternoon. We spent 5 hours going over the most useless **** i've ever gone over in my life. I should have said no...and I told him during the meeting that I don't want to join. He proceeded to call me EVERY day for the next 3 days asking me to join. That is when they start to get very annoying.

No offense to the people in the military, but from the recruits I saw there, they were mostly the students at school that failed every single class LOL. I even saw some people I knew from my school there who were the "less than stellar" students aka students with GPA's of 1.0. I don't think thats something I wish to be around after 4 years of hard work in high school. Thats my view on this issue... And again I am sure there are smart people in the military, but when I took a test for the marines (Almost a mini version of the SAT with CR and Math) I got 99/99, a perfect score, whereas the average person in the marines has a 30 (LOL). So ya...no thanks.

Can that test measure courage? Determination? Patriotism?

And you think that's laughable?

Mucho gracias, Chaos. You're taking the words out of my mouth.
