You know what I hate?

Military Recruitment Telemarketers.

I agree. They just won't back off.

Is this a joke? I can't be sure -- I'm Canadian.

lol, did you take that one test? x_x

You know what I hate?

buttsecks???

This Marines recruiter who came to our school told my friend (who was already accepted to a private women's college) that he thought she didn't want to join the Marines because "You just think all the women in the military are dykes, right?"

..she was shocked. Understandably so.

I hate the fact that I'm not even a US citizen yet I have to register with selective service. Oh well, I'm too out of shape to actually serve in any branch of the military anyway IF (that's a big if since whoever says the word draft will be burned in effigy and then stoned to death on the spot-ie all hell's going to break loose) they ever reinstate the draft. And IF they do (I'm not subject to it), and I'm fluent in korean.

Oh yeah, but I would imagine how annoying military recruiters are. Make VERY CLEAR to them that you want them to back off and tell them you're on the do not call registry and that you'll report them to the FTC if they ever call again. That should shut them up. (Again, get the name of the person BEFORE you do this) If that doesn't work, get a restraining order...thank god I go to private school and I never see military recruiters. And even if they did show up, I'm good at saying "not interested. gotta go. sorry."

They're not supposed to stalk people who aren't interested...seriously tell them to back off, you're not interested, and that it's in their best interests to chase after people who ARE interested...since you would never join anyway.

Better yet, make sure you record every phone call with these dudes, and then mail all of them to the DoD. They're cracking down on abuses and harassment by military recruiters. They'd be all over the tapes.
