Art History at Cal

<p>I am an art history major accepted at Cal and UCLA (junior transfer). I’ve heard some opinions about the program at UCLA that sounded really unappealing to me as far as what is emphasized in upper division classes. I’m wondering now about the Cal program, if i’ts similar in its emphasis on crit theory (as in I’ll never see an image again during undergrad) or if it’s a bit more interdisciplinary, integrated with visual literacy…</p>
