Hi,
Does anyone have experience with University of Iowa’s School of Art they could share? My daughter is interested in the program-- she loves drawing and painting in particular. We don’t know much about the program except that it is apparently well regarded and also very large-- I think 600-some undergraduates.
I’m wondering what the pros and cons of being in that large of a department/school are. Do undergrads get individual attention, plenty of resources, opportunities for internships/mentorships? Also, what is the overall social and academic vibe like there-- collaborative, competitive, relaxed, stressful?
