I have been accepted to Pratt, Otis, ringling, scad, lcad, Ucsb, cal poly slo, csuci, and cal Lutheran. After doing a lot of visiting and researching art schools I sort of decided they were too expensive and possibly full of people I wouldn't gel with. I'm not that eccentric, artsy kind of person and all of my friends right now are into math and science. I thought cal poly sounded like the best of both worlds because I would get that college experience of dorms, sports, big campus, and college town, but still be getting a bfa in a small art and design dept with a concentration in studio art. I don't know for sure what I want to do with art but I'd like to work in more of a team environment than freelance. Honestly I've always dreamed of working for Disney imagineering where my dad works or maybe making concept art for animated movies I have no idea??? I'm not really into conceptual stuff. I also really love art history and have considered going down that route of museum curator or teacher. I found out that cal poly studio art has less than ten kids in it per grade. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. one of my friends said that if I do an Mfa somewhere that my undergrad won't matter.

Basically, I can't decide if I should go to a university where I will get the full college experience with kids of other majors and get a more broad art education, or if I should go to art school where after a year i can get very specific and be around only creative people, and possibly have better connections into the art world.

HELP!!!
