I am an international student in Korea, and since I was going to send my Art Supplement(bascially the one on the Common App) to other universities and college for RD anyway, I also searched if UC Berkeley would offer additional arts evaluations.

So this is what I found on UC Berkeley's Department of Music admissions page before the application deadline (11/30)....

"Since students are admitted to the College of Letters and Science and not to a specific department, auditions are not part of the admissions process. Students who would like their performance skills taken into account as part of their application may send a DVD, CD, score, or video recording under separate cover to the Department of Music. This is completely voluntary. Submissions must be postmarked by December 15th, and can be sent to:"

What I did basically is the same thing that I was going to do for the upcoming RD colleges.
So the materials I sent were
-CD (Voice-baritone, includes three tracks , total duration less than 10 minutes)
-Music Resume
-My instructor's official letter of recommendation (original copy+translation)
-A little brochure about my arts school in Seoul
-(no arts supplement form, since they don't use CommonApp)

SO Am I on the right track? Will the Department be able to identify me and my application even if there are hundreds and thousands of applicants? I am just curious to know if UC Berkeley does take optional arts materials into consideration when making admission decisions.
