Artificial Intelligence College Programs?

I'm mainly interested in Computers.. but lately I've had this thing for AI.. I'm just wondering what schools have programs for Ai work... if any... I know MIT has some sort of lab/program.. not really sure what it is though..

UCSC is implementing a computer game design concentration which includes AI as one of its main foundations in its computer science program, but I doubt that's what you're looking for.

In case it might be, though, here's a link to the press release: http://www.ucsc.edu/news_events/press_releases/text.asp?pid=656

I do not know of any undergraduate majors in Artificial Intelligence. It is common for Comp Sci, Comp Eng, or Cognitive Sci programs to offer undergraduate courses in AI. Many top Comp Sci/Comp Eng schools have special labs and research groups devoted to AI. Michigan, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Texas, and many others.

Carnegie Mellon.

Rice - the major is in CS but they have an ongoing AI research team that undergrads can get involved with: http://www.cs.rice.edu/Database/ai-robotics.shtml

I guess UIUC also.......

Here is the link to the American Association for Artificial Intelligence. Maybe they can help you further.

Thanks, good idea .. I sent them an email.. let' see what they say.
