I'm writing this on behalf of my D. She wants me to ask you if anyone can point her in the right direction to find an appropriate internship. She (and I) have used Google searches, but there are so many results, and we aren't experienced enough to know which are legit.

Her school is a bit clueless about arts (specifically music, more specifically violin) majors in China. The programs they seem to be aware of are all business related.

Her music major doesn't allow for the possibility to study abroad during the school year, and we can't afford any of the summer programs we've found, since they require us to pay out-of-state tuition for a third semester (and her scholarships and aid are only for two semesters). So in an attempt to create a version of study abroad, she thought perhaps she could find an internship.

She is majoring in violin, speaks fluent German (and English, of course), and will have had two years of college-level Chinese. If she could create her own job, it would be something like teaching violin in an Chinese orphanage, or some such, but she really isn't picky. Clerical, teaching English, whatever. It doesn't have to pay, or pay much, but needs to not be too expensive, and I would like some reassurance that it is legitimate!

Any help, insight, or experiences welcome.
