Regarding Advanced Standing Examinations at MIT:
Are petitions to take ASEs in higher level math courses (past the ones offered at orientation) typically approved?
Follow up question: Are ASEs in general typically approved?
Not sure about ASE approval (as I didn’t ASE anything, but someone else might know) but my friends who ASE’d out of 18.03 and 18.06 essentially had to do all the psets for those classes, as well as take the ASE. You may want to take that into account…
