My high school is seriously competitive in science.

Freshman Year was actually in the States and got like 3.9 out of 4.0
then moved to another country to an insane science school and gpa became like 3.6 out of 4.3 -.-
Graded comparatively
(like top 10 % = A's next 30% = B's and so on)

SAT: Didn't Take Yet

Pretty Good EC’s, especially for a junior, but your grades aren’t amazing and your AP scores don’t support your grades much either. I won’t rate you for schools though.

Well I kinda didn’t really care about the non science aps -.-
I took the Euro Freshman Year
The US/COMP Sophmore Year ( I transfered in January but the new school did not offer AP courses so i Self Studied )
Chem Junior Year ( Only one i took at the new school )

I dont see you getting into the top schools if you want to blow off non-science subjects. They all look at GPA as the best indicator of your performance to be able to make it at their schools.

SAT is a necessary indicator, but based on the other stuff, you don’t look like HYPS material. You consistently have to be in that top 10% that gets As for even a shot.

Well it was like that when i was in Freshman Year but Not anymore
Damm GPA really kills me -.-
Would it help if the high school was really competitive??
Like 5 percent acceptance rate

There are something like 16000 or more valedictorians in US alone and most of these schools are considering students worldwide.

Getting the best GPA, i.e., being valedictorian from a lot of schools does get you any consideration among the top schools since they already know the rigor at those schools. In most cases, people getting selected are coming from the most competitive schools and being the best at those competitive schools. If your school is considered competitive and there are people being accepted to the top schools from your current school, you should be able to talk to a counselor or someone to see how you measure up.

Even though you go to a highly competitive school (which colleges will note), you still need to be in top 5-10% for even a reasonable chance at an ivy let alone HYPSM.

You could explain how you had to adjust to a new country and the upward trend would help. What country are you applying from? Applying as an international generally has a negative impact on chances, especially if you apply for financial aid.
