AP: I’m taking all my APs this year- PhysicsC(Mech), Physics2, Chem, CalculusBC, Micro/Macroecnonomics. hoping that i would receive 5s from all of them…
I’m thinking of majoring earth sciences/geology.
My college choices (for now) are Oxford, Imperial, Durham.
Which college will be best for an international(asian) student who wants to study earth sciences?
What happens if I fail to receive 5s from Physics/Chem/Calculus? (I saw that Oxford&Imperial require students to receive 5s from all of them) Do I get rejected immediately because i’ve failed to fulfill their requirements?

Yes if you fail to get 5s you lose any acceptance you had.
Are you in the 11th grade?
Perhaps add Edinburgh or Glasgow?
Are you a US high school student? Why are you specifying that you are Asian?
If not in US why are you taking all US system tests?
It’s too late to apply for Oxford this year (or any UK university unless it has rolling admissions for internationals). Or do you mean you intend to apply in the fall for admission in 2019?
You’ll definitely need 5s for Oxford and Imperial. Durham may be a bit more lenient but all 5s will help.
Internationals (nonnEEA) can apply til June 1st.

Students can decide whether they want to take domestic/international paths after graduation in our school. We have SAT/AP courses for students who take the international route.
Do they give you conditional offer if you haven’t got 5s for the subjects required?
Or they just deny you from the very beginning of the application process, so you won’t be able to even take the interview?
They can, if they rate the rest of your application highly enough.
You send in all of your existing test scores and predictions of the scores you will get on all of the exams you are planning/scheduled to take (whether they are relevant to your course or not), along with your Personal Statement and Letter of Recommendation.
For Oxford (admission deadline for all applicants = 15 Oct), they will review your everything and either reject you or offer you an interview. If you are offered an interview (which is in early December, and can be in person or by Skype), in January you will either be rejected, given an unconditional offer (you have a definite place / any results after that don’t matter), or given a conditional offer (which will be very specific). If you get a conditional offer and you don’t meet the conditions you will lose your offer.
Imperial interviews applicants who live close enough, but I don’t know if they interview international students for Geology (they do for some courses- I just don’t know about geography).
Most of the rest don’t interview.
As for which university / course would be best for you- that’s homework you need to do. Read the detailed descriptions of the relevant course(s) carefully, and look at the kind of research that the departments are engaged in - they vary more than you might think.
Conditional offers are quite normal, based on the APs you still have to take. Having said that, if you go in with lower scores on any of Calc, Chem and Physics, two out of three of which are required, then Oxford would not be at all likely to shortlist you for interview.
