I got into LS, is there any possible way to get into stern. Can you apply as a transfer student>

-england2010… or anyone :D

could you give me some insight on BPE student life? Are BPE students on the same/lower/higher academic level? What do you think is the biggest difference between Business Core and BPE students? Is BPE a close-knit community of their own? Do they have a heavier/lighter course load?

Basically, I’ve searched all over their website, but I still feel like I didn’t get a lot of BPE information on student life, academics etc

-Thanks

Hi England2010! Thanks so much for this thread; it’s been very helpful to a fellow international student.
I have two questions I’d like to ask:

1) I’m currently torn between possibly majoring in finance with Stern and completing a degree in accounting and finance with LSE. Assuming that England is your home country, how would you compare these two programs?

2) Do you know the classes I could get placements for with 7s for HL Math, Econ and Physics in the IB Diploma? I’ve tried searching the stern site but couldn’t find this information anywhere.

Thanks again!

Hi! I actually applied for Finance at first since Stern is definately my favorite. However, it turned out that I received an offer which said I’m in Economics, general in CAS! It really frustrates me!

So, I am writting to ask you guys is it possible for this kind of situation to happen? If so, how could I possibily change my school from CAS to Stern? I really love Finance and really want to become a sterny!

Thank you so much!

Do you know what the 75% for the sat is for Stern? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Also, how important is it to take subject tests?

I am deciding which NYU campus to go to and obviously NyU wants to know in their supplement why I would choose the campus I do choose but I am not sure which one to go too. I am not aware of any of the programs NyU offers I do want to do pre-law like major in political science or philosophy and minor in theatre arts. I’m looking toward NYU new York but can you tell me why NyU nEw York is the better place to choose bc I think that is my pick but I am not sure. Looking at what I want to do what do you know about the programs there and what do you consider reasons NYU new York campus is the right one for me?

Hey england2010! Being an international student myself hoping to get into NYU Stern, would you mind chancing me? (Although I find it rather strange…)
