<p>ungst: My school calendar is actually pretty amazing this year. We got out kind of late for winter break (the 21st was our last day of finals) but we didn't go back until today. We also get next Monday off and then another Monday off the last week of January. If you include all of that with the fact that I miss a day a week for swim meets...I get a lot of nice 3-day weeks.</p>

<p>j07: My school doesn't have AP classes, but the IB Bio HL program is pretty irritating. Since my school is tiny, and not a lot of people manage to do the IB, there is a normal Bio class, and an IB Bio class. IB students are required to take both because some of the basic concepts that are necessary for the IB class weren't covered by the previous years' curriculum. It is really really irritating, but I don't think I will take AP Bio since it has basically the same value as IB Bio HL.</p>

<p>i didn't think metamorphosis was all that bad but i wasn't like in love with it. Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie would be the book for me. i found it extremely annoying and redundant. yeah so they had good things to say...but it wasn't as profound as he tried to make it (and very obviously so). i don't know. i hope i'm not offending anyone =/</p>

<p>i wrote a 25 page paper on woodrow wilson and foreign policy and basically argued against a thesis of a prominent historian. best part was my harvard grad teacher was swayed by my thesis :-)</p>

<p>Last year in IB Psych we designed a fake psychology experiment pretending as though we had unlimited funds and such, so my group did "Does the Real O.C. like really make you ditzy?" And our premise was that if girls watched an hour of Laguna Beach everyday, they would start saying 'like' more. The whole thing was kind of a joke but we made up fake results and had posters and stuff and we got to watch Laguna Beach in class to "test it out." </p>
