Ask an Admission Counselor

@redpoodles We’re sorry for the confusion. :frowning: We got ahead of ourselves with an email that went out. We still have some files we’re in the process of working on right now - we expect all final decisions to go out by March 31st. We deeply apologize for this mistake and the confusion that it caused.

Great to meet you last weekend Nicole. My son decided on Champlain and we are very excited!

It was great to meet you as well, @carly135 ! I’m so excited to hear that your son will be joining us in the fall!

Hello! I am I am a very interested student who applied late November for the ED2 deadline, and am wondering around what time I should expect to receive a decision? (hopefully an acceptance! )

Hello Robert! Sorry I can’t tag you, it doesn’t seem to like names with spaces. :\ Anyways, we are working through our Early Decision 2 applications right now, so you should hopefully be hearing from us very soon! If you’d like, you’re welcome to reach out to us and we can make sure everything’s been received. Email our main account at admission[at]champlain.edu and they’ll be able to help you out, or direct you on to the counselor from your region. Let me know if you have any other questions!

When are RD decisions being sent? Will merit aid info be included at the same time?

Hi @DemonDad , we have been steadily mailing those out over the last few weeks, but I believe the last wave or two of them are going out through this week, early next week at the absolute latest. Merit aid information shouldn’t be too far behind that - usually within 2-3 weeks at most. Hopefully you should be receiving information soon! If you still haven’t received a decision by the end of next week, reach out to our main admissions line - they can direct you from there. admission[at]champlain.edu

Hi @NicoleChamplain , thank you very much for the quick response. We received the acceptance letter and packet today; my son was ecstatic! Hopefully the merit information comes quickly and makes Champlain a viable option; so that we can meet everyone at the 4/22 admitted student day.

@DemonDad I’m so glad to hear that your son received his acceptance letter and that he was excited!! Yes, your financial aid information should be arriving soon. We’ll look forward to seeing you all at our second Admitted Student Day!
