madbean is completely right! I did a TON of theater in high school but found that my film major, my job, and my internship were too demanding for me to take many theater classes. Luckily, a LOT of the productions are student-run and it’s very easy to get involved! I believe a lot of the theater groups (like TSA - Theater Student Organization, etc) send out mass bulletins on a weekly basis about opportunities to help out and stuff like that. Also, one of my really good friends here is a double major in Poli Sci and Cinema so no, that is not impossible.

USC actually strongly encourages people to double major or major/minor in diverse areas. They have a program called Renaissance Scholars where they recognize people who study fields like Bio and French together and whatnot. If you look at the page, you can see one student who quadruple majored in Screenwriting, Poli Sci, Linguistics, and East Asian Languages/Cultures and finished his course of study in four years. I myself am a film major with a minor in Marshall (Consumer Behavior) and most of the classes I need for my minor I was able to transfer in from elsewhere. AND I’m studying abroad. It’s VERY easy to do these things at USC!!
