if you get rejected from HPME are you still eligible for regular admission?

yeah.. I think so

I have a question regarding the admission for Northwestern.
I was able to get into contact with the Northwestern cross country coach.
I am wondering how much of a "break" will Northwestern offer you if you are partcipating in intercollegiate division 1 cross country?

awards i have recieve in cross country
MVP for my school 3 years so far (hopefully next year as a senior as well!)
MVP for american schools in korea 1 year
all tornament - all 3 years
all conference - all 3 years
all tornament in the asia pacfic - 2 years

Also just to clarify I wouldn't say I'm below Northwestern standards, but I certainly not above them.
SAT: Reading: 630 Math: 800 Writing: 700
ACT: 32
GPA: 3.75
I am a full IB diploma candiate so I'm taking all university level courses in: Chemistry, English, Psychlogy, Theatre Arts, Math, and Spanish.

Other activities I am involved in are

Modeled United Nations in China

I'm not specifically asking what my "chances" are since college acceptances are somewhat arbitrary, but I am asking how much cross country would aide my into college.
