Asking for LOR from summer class professor?

I'm not sure if that's a good idea because it's only a six week course, but it's in an experimental psychology class. I'll be doing 10 written short assignments and four papers for this professor, plus spending 3.5 hours per day, 4 days a week (14 hours per week) for six weeks with her.

Is it realistic to think she can know me well enough and my work well enough just based on that? Also talking a lot in class/going to office hours...or should I look for a regular spring/fall semester prof with a longer class?

Thanks!

anyone? :(

If this class is related to what you plan to study in grad school, and you participate in class as you suggest, and may be using writing samples from the class as part of your supplementals, I would think a LOR from this professor would be good to have.

Summer after freshman year, and again summer after soph year (at a U close to home) my D took classes related to her minor with a professor that she got to know well, and wrote several papers for. He is very well known and highly respected in his field. She has LOR commitments from three professors in her primary field, but will use the additional LOR from this professor strategically, for those programs where it makes sense in the context of her application.
