I just got an interview from them last week! It seems like they’re scheduling interviews based on the professors’ availabilities.

@12345Mindless They have said that they should be in contact with all applicants on the final decision in mid-April. Not sure if that means that those who have not been offered an interview are rejected already.

@sushis Wow! Congratulations, that is great! I hope you have a wonderful time at the opportunity. If I may ask, did you do anything specifically science or math related outside of school? Personally, I didn’t have much experience other than a science fair one year, so I think that may be the reason.

@potatoepotatoe I started a math club at my school and led the team to a couple math tournaments, so that’s what I mainly talked about in the written application. Don’t worry too much about your application though! I think they’re not finally done with the decisions yet (since they need to hear back from ppl they emailed first), so you might still have a shot:)
