Associate in Arts Certificate Information

<p>You must submit a formal application to Undergraduate Studies.

To be eligible for an AA Certificate, a student must have completed all of the following by the end of the term of application:</p>

<p>___ 1. At least 60 credit hours earned toward graduation.</p>

<p>___ 2. A minimum of a 2.0 overall GPA.</p>

<p>___ 3. All Liberal Studies courses with at least a 2.0 GPA.</p>

<p>___ 4. All Gordon Rule requirements.</p>

<p>___ 5. All sections of CLAST or approved alternative.</p>

<p>___ 6. At least 20 of the last 30 credits at F.S.U.</p>

<p>You do not need to satisfy the multi-cultural, oral competency, and computer literacy FSU graduation requirements in order to obtain the Associates in Arts certificate.</p>

<p>Students cannot apply for both an associate in arts certificate and a bachelor's degree to be awarded in the same semester. Also, the associate in arts certificate cannot be awarded once a bachelor's degree has been conferred.</p>
