Associates Degree for Transfer to a CSU/UC

I’m eligible to get an ADT for Math from completing classes that overlapped with my major requirements at a CCC.

Should I apply for the associates degree for transfer for math even though I’m trying to transfer into computer science to a CSU/UC? Can I get rejected for having an ADT in math when I’m applying as a CS major?

You will not be rejected for Computer Science if you have ADT in Math, but you still need to meet the CSU and UC CS transfer requirements to be eligible for that transfer. Having an ADT guarantees that if you are not admitted to the CSU campus of your choice, your application will be redirected to an alternate campus. Apply for the ADT at your CCC.
