Associates or bachelors in game design

Hey everyone!
I have been doing some research on some game design schools both online and in the southern states, and I actually had a few quick questions. Before I begin, though, let me briefly introduce the situation I’m in. I graduated with a degree I discovered I wasn’t as passionate about as I would have hoped. I actually discovered about a year before graduation that I wasn’t interested in pursuing a career at all. However, since I was younger, my passion has ALWAYS been art and writing. I am most definitely not new to drawing, but I’m not as experienced as I would like to be in both digital art and also 3D modeling. So there’s a number of schools that I’ve looked at, however would an associates degree or bachelors be better? I’m just curious if anybody has any insight on the situation. I’ve drawn since I would pick up a pencil, but I feel like I could still work on my craft more. Would an associate’s degree provide plenty of training, or would an associate’s degree really be the better option?

I totally look forward to some
