At MIT in Summer!

Hey guys,
I have just learned that I have been accepted for MIT Junction!
I have several questions to ask regarding the summer time in and around MIT(precisely June 29-August 11). I'm not from MA so I have to find housing since MIT doesn't offer any housing for ESP participants. If I find a FSILG housing, I'll probably stay alone, otherwise I'll be probably with my dad.

1) I have been checking through both MIT and CC website for off campus housing advices. Does any of you recommend a specific website for housing(preferably one you had experience with)? I read in CC that some FSILGs rent the rooms to outsiders in summer(btw I'm male), do you know any that does or should I call FSILGs one by one o.O?

2) I have been told that real MIT classes aren't held during the summer. However I wonder that will the offices, libraries and labs be open during that time? If libraries are open, can I use them?

3) Can I use internet in campus with my notebook? It seems that is not possible since I'll need to install the certificates, which are only available to MIT affiliates.

4) Are there any places do you recommend to visit for a non Boston resident? :)

5) Any ESP volunteers or ex-ESP participants who wishes to share their experiences/thoughts?

FSILGs rent out rooms to outsiders at times, but it’s risky for them to rent out to a high school student (below the age of 18?). You can go ahead and give them a call (yes, one-by-one – they don’t coordinate with each other), but I wouldn’t expect much luck there. If your dad is coming out and renting an apartment (or already lives here), I’d just go with that.
