at the end

how much does where you go to med school determine the type of jobs that you'll be getting after you're done with it all? is it not that if you just graduate from any med school that you'll be able to find a well paying job regardless where you went? i know that when applying for a job, harvard med school students will be looked higher upon than say john doe med school. but doesnt it just come down to the demand of medical doctors in the future that will guarantee you a secure and well-paying job?

just curious.

Most jobs aren't like that. As has been said, Harvard is good for research and "Doctor to the stars", etc. But more important in getting a job is the quality/reputation of your residency, and your performance therein. Med school is important for which residency you get into, though.

But any (qualified/decent) doctor out there can get a job, and usually at a fine salary.
